A dual celebration of sky and sea – honouring two of the most symbolic tartans I've ever designed. Both kilts were originally woven in 2023 from heavyweight 16oz wool and are now in their final chapter. The Earthrise tartan pays tribute to the iconic Apollo 8 photograph of our blue planet rising over the Moon, while the North Sea Oil tartan salutes Scotland’s offshore industrial legacy.
Each kilt is made in Scotland, numbered and certified, and tailored to your bespoke measurements. As of July 2025, final stock is available to order – 8 Earthrise kilts and approximately 10 North Sea Oil kilts remain.

Each kilt comes with a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity. These are the final remaining kilts from the 2023 weaves – once they’re gone, there are no current plans to produce more.
