This Framed Collector’s Edition of the Star‑Spangled Banner tartan is a fine-art print celebrating the modern 50‑star flag—symbolizing America as she stands today.
Designed in Arbroath, Scotland (the birthplace of the Declaration of Arbroath) and assembled in the United States for U.S. orders, it transforms the opening verse of America’s national anthem into a vibrant display of plaid and color to commemorate the nation’s 250th year.
From the heart of Scottish tradition, the Tartan250 PRESENT Edition is the first official release of this tartan, serving as a unique “tartan for the clans” of all 50 states. Produced with archival materials and museum‑quality craftsmanship, each print is individually numbered and certified for lasting authenticity.

HONORING
...the USA Semiquincentennial Year
The Flag of Today—Reimagined in Tartan
In commemoration of the United States Semiquincentennial Year, this framed edition presents the modern 'Star-Spangled Banner'—as interpreted through the official tartan design by Scottish artist Steven Patrick Sim, registered as Tartan #13214.
Luminous azure‑blue—with star‑white pivots—sparkle within deep navy fields, recalling the 50 states. Inspired by the geometry of the US flag, these stand alongside dynamic red grounds, with 13‑count stripes alternating between broad scarlet and white—honouring the original thirteen colonies. All are held in the balanced symmetry of the sett. Together, these reds, blues, stars, and stripes embody the spirit of the United States flag—representing unity and serving as a constellation of hope in the 21st century.
