Your Star-Spangled Banner print order is fulfilled by my specialist fine-art publisher — theprintspace — with production facilities in the USA, UK, and EU. Orders are normally routed to an appropriate regional facility, subject to the product, production availability, and delivery address. Local fulfilment can reduce cross-border shipping, but it does not guarantee that every order avoids customs, duties, or delays.
This guide is for the Star-Spangled Banner print editions. The Burnished Gold Editions are prepared in my Arbroath studio and have their own fulfilment arrangements, described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
U.S. Production & Local Delivery
For U.S. buyers: These prints are designed in Arbroath, Scotland — the birthplace of the Declaration of Arbroath — and U.S. orders are normally produced and dispatched within the United States where the chosen product is available from the regional facility.
For orders fulfilled within the United States:
✅ — Domestic dispatch avoids an international import shipment to the U.S. buyer
✅ — Local production can reduce delivery time; production and courier delays remain possible
✅ — The available delivery service and charge are shown before payment
How Shipping Works for Your Prints 📦
Unframed Prints
For print-only orders, theprintspace’s standard fulfilment rule is one delivery charge per order, rather than per print. The amount charged by this shop is shown at checkout for your delivery address and basket.

One delivery charge is the standard partner rule for an order containing only unframed prints.

Check the basket total — checkout shows the delivery charge for the actual items and destination.

Order together — grouping unframed prints may offer better delivery value under the print-only rule.
Framed Prints
Framed prints follow a different partner fulfilment rule: shipping is calculated per frame. For mixed orders containing framed and unframed prints, theprintspace applies the framed-shipping rule. In practice:

A mixed order uses the partner’s framed-shipping rule; an additional unframed flat-rate fee should not be inferred from this guide.

Each framed print contributes to the partner’s shipping calculation. Your shop checkout displays the actual total delivery charge before payment.

The partner’s standard fulfilment rules are per order for print-only baskets and per frame for framed baskets; mixed orders use the framed rule. These rules explain the production partner’s approach and do not replace the actual shop checkout quotation. If a destination or order needs a separate quote, please contact me before ordering.

Rest of World: 6–15 working days
FRAMED PRINTS:
UK, Germany, Europe, USA, Canada: 16–20 working days (includes 10 working days production for framing, then 6–10 days shipping)
Rest of World: 16–25 working days (includes 10 working days production for framing, then 6–15 days shipping)
These are indicative production-plus-delivery estimates in working days, rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Framed prints need additional production time. Product availability, holidays, destination, customs where relevant, and courier conditions may affect the schedule; any specific estimate supplied for your order should be checked before purchase.
Why is U.S. unframed shipping comparatively high?
The U.S. unframed example above is £24.50, which may feel higher than expected. Delivery pricing can reflect packaging, handling, and the service available in that region; please check the current shop quotation at checkout.

Specialist Packaging – Fine-art prints need careful packing for transit. The partner selects packaging suitable for the product; delivery packaging should not be assumed to provide permanent archival storage.

Regional Delivery Services – Courier prices vary by destination, package size, and available service, even when a print is produced domestically.

Partner Carbon Programme – theprintspace states that it calculates and offsets delivery emissions within its published carbon-neutral service programme. This describes offsets, rather than zero-emission couriers.

Grouping unframed prints in a print-only order may improve delivery value. Framed and mixed orders follow a different partner shipping rule; check the total before payment.
