Hi folks 👋

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I’ve taken some time recently to tidy things up behind the scenes and give my website and studio a fresh focus — just for now.


Over the years, this space has grown a fair bit — from kilts and tartans to fine art prints, galleries, and stories from my journey as The Tartan Artisan®. Now, I’m excited to turn the page and share something special I’ve been quietly working on.

 




What’s happening now

I’ve refreshed the website, focusing first on launching my Star-Spangled Banner Fine-Art Editions, marking America’s 250th Anniversary — with the big day fast approaching on July 4th, 2026.

For the moment, my kilt collections, woven accessories, and other handcrafted pieces are temporarily offline while I reorganise and improve things behind the scenes. But don’t worry — nothing’s gone! These favourites will be back as soon as I can get the site right again.

What’s coming next

Alongside my tartan themed Limited Edition Prints (fulfilled for me by theprintspace), I’m also preparing to introduce a focused range of new products — each featuring one of my tartans — made responsibly through my boutique-made-to-order print partner Contrado, and designed here in my wee studio in Arbroath.

The range will be inspired initially by my four “independence-themed” tartans:

  • The Star-Spangled Banner (Past & Present)

  • The Declaration of Scottish Independence

  • The Declaration of Arbroath 7th Centennial

I’ll put the same care, heart, and story into each piece as with all my other work, also offering a fresh way to own a little part of what I create as America’s 250th Anniversary approaches.



Looking back — and ahead

This wee studio began with a spark of inspiration right here Arbroath, Scotland — from the Declaration itself, to my hand-crafted 3D facsimiles — and the tartans born from those stories.

Every design, thread, and print is a piece of that craft and heritage. That story remains at the heart of everything I do.
