Important Notice About Shipping Charges

Please note: Shipping for kilts and woven kilt accessories is invoiced separately after tailoring, once your order is completed and boxed.
The “FREE” shipping label you might see at checkout for these items is a system default and does not apply.
You will receive a separate invoice for delivery costs prior to dispatch once the parcel is weighed and measured.

Important framed-artwork checkout note: if checkout shows Customer collection from Aizle Framing, Balfron, Customer collection only from Aizle Framing, Balfron, or a similar £0.00 / “FREE” shipping line, this means customer collection by appointment only. It does not mean free delivery. Eligible local/regional postcodes may also be offered Aizle local/regional framed artwork delivery at £49. Other delivery arrangements require a custom quote before dispatch.

1. Declaration 3D Facsimiles and Gold Framed Artwork


Specialist Framed Artwork Delivery

Framed Declaration artworks, including Declaration 3D Fine Art Facsimiles and Declaration Gold Metallic Print Editions, require specialist handling. Depending on the product, size and destination, checkout may offer local/regional Aizle delivery, collection from Aizle Framing by appointment, or a custom delivery quote arranged before dispatch. Where a framed Declaration artwork is reserved with a deposit or part-payment, the remaining balance and any agreed delivery charge must be paid before the item is released, collected, delivered, dispatched, or fulfilled.


Local / Regional Aizle Framing Delivery

For eligible local and regional postcodes, checkout may show:

This option is available only for approved postcode areas where specialist delivery from Aizle Framing, Balfron is practical. If the £49 delivery option does not appear at checkout for your address, it means your postcode is outside the current automated local/regional delivery area.

This collection option appears at checkout with no shipping charge. Collection must be arranged by appointment after ordering. If checkout shows this option as £0.00 or “FREE”, this means customer collection only from Aizle Framing, Balfron; it does not mean free delivery.


Addresses Outside the Local Delivery Area

If you require delivery and the £49 Aizle delivery option does not appear at checkout, please contact The Tartan Artisan® before ordering. A custom delivery quote may be possible depending on destination, artwork size, insurance requirements, and safe handling arrangements. Any agreed custom delivery, packing, insurance, or courier charge must be paid before dispatch or delivery.


International Enquiries

International shipping for framed Declaration artworks, including Declaration 3D Fine Art Facsimiles and Declaration Gold Metallic Print Editions, is not offered automatically at checkout. Overseas customers should contact The Tartan Artisan® before ordering so that suitability, packing risk, courier options, insurance, and costs can be considered individually.

 

 

2. Designer Kilts & Highland Wear


Made to Order – Carefully Presented

  • Each kilt and accessory is individually made to order with careful attention to detail.
  • Orders may include a single kilt, a kilt with matching fly plaid, or multiple items requiring special boxing and packing.
  • All kilts and woven goods are fully insured and shipped via DHL Tracked Delivery.


Shipping Process

  • Shipping is not charged at checkout for kilts and woven goods.
  • Once completed and boxed, a separate invoice for shipping will be issued before dispatch.
  • Costs are calculated fairly based on final parcel weight, size, insurance value, and destination.

International customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, VAT, or customs fees imposed by their country, which are not included in the prices shown.


Combined Orders

If you order additional made-to-order accessories—such as a fringed or purled & knotted fly plaid—shipping will be combined and invoiced together.


Collection Option

Customers may collect orders by appointment in Arbroath, with no shipping charge.


Tariffs & Duties

For international customers, local import taxes, customs duties, or tariffs may apply upon delivery. These charges are not included in the product price and remain the customer’s responsibility.

 

 

3. Fine Art Prints (Creativehub / theprintspace)

Prints are produced and shipped directly by Printspace Studios Limited (theprintspace / Creativehub). Orders include tracking and secure packaging for international delivery.

4. Contrado Print-on-Demand Products

Products such as printed scarves, homeware, and apparel are handled by Contrado Imaging Ltd. Shipping is auto-calculated at checkout.
