Designer wrapping paper exclusive to the Tartan Artisan ®. Featuring the tartan ...Scotland's Grace. Inspired after the designer witnessed an unusually bright double rainbow during a heavy cloudburst in full sunshine, which appeared over Arbroath east coast of Scotland on 9th May 2014.

This elegant, custom printed wrapping paper is made from thick 140gsm luxurious paper. Handmade and finished with a satin gloss the paper showcases my tartan to perfection. Printed in the highest quality with fine details, colours and stitches beautifully reproduced.

As the paper is glossy, sticky tape can be removed relatively easily so the gift wrap can be kept even after the present is opened.

MADE FROM DURABLE PAPER…
Each roll of custom gift wrap is printed and cut by hand by my expert print partner. Made from, high-quality 140gsm paper, which is very easy to wrap. Because of its thickness and quality, it will not rip or tear when wrapping with it, like many other flimsy generic wrapping papers.

Although your print wrapping paper is made from strong paper, my manufacturer still recommends treating it with care to ensure that it does not rip.

The tartan was inspired after the designer witnessed an unusually bright double rainbow, during a heavy cloudburst in full sunshine, appearing over Arbroath east coast of Scotland on 9th May 2014.

The sett reflects the seven colours of the spectrum and portrays Alexander's Dark Band, the optical phenomenon associated with rainbows and named after Alexander of Aphrodisias (the celebrated Peripatetic philosopher from Ancient Greece) who first described it in AD 200.

The grey pivot represents the second bow occasionally seen in the cloud.

As rainfall can be a common occurrence in Scotland the designer wanted to celebrate the dramatic Scottish cloudscapes, sunlit rainbows and rains - which when gracing the land bring forth stunning natural beauty.

The blue in the weave pays tribute also to Scotland's streams, rivers and lochs. The tartan is intended for any individual or group wishing to be represented by a rainbow-themed tartan.
