Inspired and designed in Scotland, by the Tartan Artisan®, this hand-made to order wall clock celebrates NASA’s return to the moon, and features the world-famous Apollo 8 ‘Earthrise’ photograph, taken from lunar orbit by astronaut William Anders on 24th December 1968.

The photograph which became the most iconic image of the 20th century, was declared by wilderness photographer Gallen Rowell (in Life Magazine's 100 Photographs that Changed the World edition) as “the most influential environmental photograph ever taken”.

This clock features lines instead of numbers.

Celebrating the launch of NASA's 2022 Artemis program, designed to eventually land humans on the Moon again. It is also the first flight of the agency's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and the complete Orion spacecraft.

The test flight was scheduled to launch on 29 August 2022 at 12:33 UTC from the Kennedy Space Centre's Launch Complex 39B, from which Apollo 10 was launched 53 years before.

Your custom wall clock requires a single AA lithium battery, which is included with a keyhole hanger on the reverse to mount it.
